All certification students are invited to review the materials prior to enrollment. Once students have the materials, they can then decide to finish the course work as a self-study, online and/or at a one-day seminar.

The Certified Wedding and Event Planning Self-Study Course is $795.00, plus shipping and handling. If tuition is paid in a single payment up front the student receives a $200 discount off the tuition price of $795 and pays only $595.00. A 2-payment plan of $397.50/each is also available.

Self-study students receive all course materials and work at their own pace to finish assignments and the certification exam. The course is based on a 10-week study schedule, however many students finish sooner depending on how much time is devoted each week to complete the course work. Students have up to six months to complete the certification. Self-study students do not have access to an instructor. Self-study students ONLY are required to send the entire completed work in for grading to complete the certification. All assignments will be retuned to students after grading is complete.

Students may also submit assignments on a disk or by email in a zip file. (This is our preferred method of submitting assignments, as there is a quicker turn-around on grading.) Please allow 4-6 weeks for this process to be completed. Students will receive their Certificate of Graduation approximately 2-3 weeks after the grading of their assignments.

Students are asked to email or call to provide us with a tracking number on assignment packages. The Wedding Planning Institute is not responsible for lost packages, mail or emails. All packages must be sent with a tracking number (i.e. FedEx, UPS, Airborne Express, etc.)

Payment for any and all programs offered at The Wedding Planning Institute are NON-REFUNDABLE once materials are shipped to the student. Withdrawal from any program must be received in writing at The Wedding Planning Institute admissions office within three business days starting from the time the student enrolled in order to qualify for a refund. Students participating in a payment plan are still responsible for the remaining balance at time of cancellation.
